What is the V!olet Project
Children are the evolutionBorn through lived experience and direct service, The V!olet Project travels globally to support village schools and community spaces, offering children embodied tools that nurture grounded futures rooted in presence, care, and self-connection. So far we have connected with children in Tamil Nadu, Northern Thailand, and Myanmar. See more about all the current initiatives below.
My "WHY"
My personal journey has taken me into diverse communities around the world, including village schools and underserved youth spaces. Along the way, I witnessed a consistent need: children often lack foundational tools for emotional regulation, body awareness, and self-trust.
Healing from Complex PTSD, my own path centred on learning how to feel safe and regulated within my body. Through this process, I experienced how embodied practices can strengthen resilience, stability, and confidence.
The V!olet Project was born from this realization — that children deserve access to practical, developmentally appropriate tools that support emotional literacy, nervous system regulation, and a strong sense of identity. These are tools that can be carried forward into adolescence and adulthood, strengthening protective factors that contribute to long-term well-being.
Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and at home within themselves.
The V!olet Project is a prevention-focused youth initiative supporting emotional literacy, nervous system awareness, and well-being for children in underserved communities.
Through partnerships with local schools and community organizations, the project offers structured programming that integrates mindful movement, breath awareness, and age-appropriate emotional education. The goal is to equip children with practical tools for self-regulation, communication, and interpersonal awareness — strengthening internal resilience during critical developmental years.
In addition to wellness education, the V!olet Project collaborates with community partners to provide tangible support such as school resources and program materials, ensuring initiatives are responsive to local needs and sustainably integrated.
Each offering is shaped by direct collaboration with educators and community leaders, with a focus on consistency, cultural respect, and long-term relationship-building.
At its core, the V!olet Project exists to strengthen protective factors in children’s lives — supporting stability, resilience, and self-trust that extend far beyond the classroom.
