Before the patterns become towers, we can build better foundations.
Holistic emotional wellbeing tools for the next generation.
What I Wish I Had Learned Earlier
For much of my adult life, I thought I needed to heal from what had happened to me.
It took years of looking inward to realize that so much of what I was experiencing as an adult had roots much earlier in my life — in the experiences, emotions, beliefs, and patterns I had learned as a child.
I began to understand just how deeply our early experiences can shape the way we relate to ourselves, regulate our emotions, navigate relationships, and move through the world. And I began to wonder: what if we could give young people the tools to understand themselves before these patterns become deeply rooted?
I am Deva Harijot, founder of Code Violet.
My work sits at the intersection of holistic wellbeing, ancient wisdom, somatic practices, and modern neuroscience. I create practical tools and experiences that help children and young people understand and navigate the big emotions happening within them, while developing the self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience they can carry into the rest of their lives.
My goal is simple: to help young people build a relationship with themselves early — so they have the tools to meet life's challenges before the patterns and conditionings of childhood become the towers they spend adulthood trying to climb.
Through Code Violet, I work with parents, carers, educators, and institutions to bring these tools into the spaces where young people live, learn, and grow.
Beyond the Code
I am also the founder of The Violet Project — a global, community-led initiative bringing nervous system and well-being tools to children in underserved communities around the world. Named for my grandmother Violet, whose passing in 2020 was the moment that drew the curtain and changed everything.
Every child deserves to feel safe in their own home — their body.
